Abstract

A graph with vertices and edges is called a Centered Octagonal sum graph(COSG) if it admits a labeling known as Centered Octagonal sum labeling(COSL). COSL is an injective function where represents the set of all non- negative integers that induces a bijection of the edges of defined by for every , where are the first Centered Octagonal numbers. In this work, we prove that various families of graphs, such as Caterpillars, Olive trees, Shrub , Banana tree , and are Centered Octagonal sum graphs.
